Dennis has been with me for a long time. I'm 35 years old, and I've known Dennis since I was 14 years old. My parents originally had hired Dennis to help me when I was a kid for a whole set of charges where I went on a little spree. I moved on to much bigger crimes. I picked up a home invasion, kidnapping, and assault with a weapon charge. I'm a repeat customer... I'm a stubborn guy that doesn't listen to people, but I know he's good at what he does. I must have used him at least four or five times now. He always knows what's best. I've never had a bad experience with Reeve. Ever. I was looking at seven to ten years one time, and he got me down to seven to nine months. He knows his shit as long as you're honest with him. And that's the problem. A lot of criminals are not even honest with their lawyers. My retainer has always been different because he bases it off how much work he will have to put in initially. How long he's going to be in for, and of the nature of the charges. I've been to court with Dennis, and he knows his shit. He tells the story the way it is from a good point of view, and he gets it across to the Judge exactly how you want it. Every time he really does go above and beyond. Once he goes up, and he actually talks, the whole courtroom is listening. It's not like these other lawyers and people are whispering or on their phones. When he's in there, everybody, they know who he is. He gets their full attention. He speaks very well, and not even the Judge wants to play with him. Nobody wants to challenge him. Pretty much, he told them what would happen every time. He comes in, he's like, "My client here, did this, this and this." And he's like, "This is what I want to ask." Period. And they were like, "Okay." A lot of people really respect him. I love having him in my corner because I know I'm going to win. I know that he'll get me out of it. I can remember the one time I did nine months. I got out, and it was the end of the day, like two hours past when everybody's there. That day, when he told me for kidnapping, what he got me was time served, that he got the kidnapping lowered to forcible confinement, I thought he fixed it good. Where instead of doing three to seven years, I got out that day with time served and went to jail every weekend and went back to work and had a life. That day was great. Probably one of the best in my life. I felt alive. It was great. It's like you come out of jail, and life is a fairytale. You're like, "Oh my God. Life is great." Even in the hard times, we have it really, really good. So I'm feeling grateful. Dennis was great at setting expectations. There's never been an issue there. He's always met the expectations. If not got better. He says, "I'm going to go for this." Then he ends up getting a better outcome. I swear on my life. You hear so many stories about lawyers that suck and take your money. He is not one. Not that guy. I was going to go to jail for years, and I did less than a year in total. If I went to jail for murder or anything crazy, I'd be calling Dennis no matter what. Even when I tell the cops that Reeve's my lawyer, they know. I'm like, "I hope you guys know Reeve's my lawyer, and I'll be handling this well." They even recognize that. That, in itself, is nice to have. When it comes to communication, He is on point. Always on time. His paperwork is great. How he handles everything is always in order and on time. There's never been any kind of mistake, ever from him. Many times I've called him on the 24-hour line. You can call, and he calls you back right away. If it's been times that I don't even need him, he'll call me back and tell me, "These are soft charges. You don't need me, save your money. Have a good night." I'm quite happy, and usually, I'm not. I can't put a number on the value. You can't put a number on that. He's saving lives and freeing people. I would tip him if I could, or he could charge me more. He's that good. The best thing about Dennis is the results. He's hired to do a job, and he does it well. I recommend him to everybody. He's like the saving grace. Without him, there's no freedom. Years of my life, he got back.

Without getting into the details, I had a really bad night out. With a lack of control and ignorance, you make mistakes.... I did a lot of research online and what stood out about Dennis was his experience. That and he had a kind face, to be honest. When I first reached out to them, they were awesome. You can't change your past, but you can try and fix it, and I went to the right person to do that. I believe in him. When Dennis was in court, he was dignified. He knows what he's doing, and he's very respected. Even walking into the courthouse, everybody knew him. When I was at the courthouse in Toronto, everybody knew him. "What are you doing here?" Hey, man. Hey, you're back?"... everybody. He's very respected. He was all around composed. Very composed. You won't get a rise out of him because he can control himself. When the judgment came back in my favour, I was relieved. It was priceless. Your freedom is priceless. You cannot put a value on that. I am extremely confident in his abilities. He helped me, and I have never been let down. I think good lawyers are good lawyers when they have experience. I think his value is probably at the top of the field, considering where he is and what he's done. Dennis can do more with his experience than other lawyers out there, so I find him very valuable. He knows more and can help you with more. His secretary, Natalie, is really sweet too. A really nice woman. She's the first interaction at the office, and I just felt that comfort and understanding with her. It was like, "Let's talk about it. We'll get through this. Don't worry." It wasn't cold. It was very welcoming. She was assertive and welcoming. She's good. Both Dennis and Natalie are great for getting back to you. If I sent something, they'd get back to me that day. If I left a message, they'd call me right back. I was happy that my case was dealt with right away. That was really important, so I was pleased. I would definitely recommend ReeveLaw and have in the past. My son has a few issues at the moment too, and I've rehired him. I would definitely point someone in his direction because I know he would help. I think he's doing it for the right reason and that he genuinely wants to help.

My son and his best friend had two girls over in my house, in my basement while my wife and I were present. These two girls are my son's best friends. Actually, they've been friends for ten years. We're also friends with all the families. We go camping together, and we've known each other for a very long time. The kids do sleepovers, and we all go to the same church. One of the girls accused my son and the other boy of sexually assaulting her, but we have a lot of evidence to disprove her claims. A lot of the evidence is very clear, cut, and dry. But it's a process, and we can't jump a step even though we have all this evidence proving that it's utter BS. Unfortunately, while we wait, it's destroying my son emotionally, psychologically, and socially. He could go on the sex offenders registry of Canada for 15 years if convicted. That's the worst-case scenario. Initially, I went to see a local lawyer right away. He said, "Wait until your son gets formerly charged because a lot of these cases get dropped when it's he said, she said." So I waited it out. Then we got the call from the police and went in and got formally charged. I tried to lawyer up right away because it's a serious charge. So I had an interview with three lawyers, and I picked Dennis. When I first reached out to ReeveLaw, I spoke with Natalie. She wanted the low down, and I gave her the 10 minute short and curly. I once emailed him about 85 questions in a row, and he answered every single one of them. I had read the disclosure, and I had many questions. He answered every single one of them. He's good like that. Another time, I had emailed him on the weekend, and he answered really quick, like a minute or two after. Then I followed up, and he answered right away. It was almost as if we were texting because we went back and forth like eight, nine times. I thought, "Wow, this is nice. I like this. I feel like I'm in his office talking to him." With Dennis right now, because of COVID, everything is email, but he's always quick to respond. He's very personal. I like him. I'd have no problem recommending Dennis. I'd have nothing negative to say about him whatsoever. I think he's quite frank. When I asked him to be extremely honest with me, he is. He recommended things that I wasn't happy with, so I questioned him, and he answered with the reasons why, and they were great reasons. Even the other dad's boy knows of Dennis. He told me once, "He takes on high profile cases. He knows what he's doing. He's been around for a long time." I highly recommend Dennis.

I was charged with driving under the influence. I pride myself on being a good person, and unfortunately, it was a wrong decision.
